Manager
Frank Lampard
In charge since November 2024
Lampard favours a possession-heavy 4-3-3 with midfielders running late into the box, played with high energy and plenty of attacking width.
Promoted. Lampard took the Sky Blues up in May 2026, ending a 25-year absence from the top flight.

Are Coventry City FC a safe survivor pick?
Coventry City FC have no Premier League seasons in the last three years — they come up from the Championship, where they avoided defeat in 71% of league games. Second-tier form flatters a club: newly promoted sides typically lose closer to half their top-flight matches, so treat Coventry City FC as a high-risk survivor pick until they have a body of Premier League results.
This season they have played 9, winning 3, drawing 0 and losing 6, with 9 scored and 16 conceded. At home they are 2-0-3; away from home 1-0-3.
The split matters: they stay unbeaten in 40% of home games versus 25% on the road, so Coventry City FC are a safer survivor pick at home.
Recent form reads W-W-L-L-W (oldest first), meaning they have come through 60% of their last 5 matches without losing.
